Samsung's Mystery Device has Mouse Naviagtion?

Is this the next big thing or just a gimmick feature? The iPAQ HX4700 featured a laptop like touchpad with a pointer on the screen, the HTC Artemis has a trackball, what is this? Either way, I am not too impressed, but it is great to see Samsung pushing out more and more phones. I just hope this one isn't one of those 6 month roll outs like the 760.

Anyhow, I found this over at Pocket PC Thoughts. It was found by friend of Aximsite, DinarSoft. He spotted this Samsung Pocket PC phone at GITEX this week.

Read this earlier today. I've still got old laptops that do the same thing. use a central toggle to move a cursor. Retro tech, that will appeal to people that like to protect their touch screen by not touching it!
I've got a new laser mouse, what about a device that has the laser built into the underside that you put on a flat surface and use like a mouse, the device moves and the cursor stays relative to the device?
