I like the looks of that case. I'm sure the hardshell would protect the iPod form scratches, but what about the case itself? Does the clear case scratch easily?

Mine has not scratched that easily, but its a replaceable protection cover. It is also easily removable which I do when my ipod is in its charger/speaker system. When out of my charger/speaker system my ipod is always, always in my case. All of the connectors I have for my ipod, both connecting from the top and bottom (I have a picture ipod 60gb) work with my ipod inside of its case. I have had this particular ipod and case for two years now and my ipod is in perfect condition thanks to this case.
