HP iPAQ 110 / HP iPAQ 210 Release Dates

ipaq200 I sense a little sarcasm in Joshua Topolsky's blurb below about the launch of the new iPAQs. He'd be surprised how many people *really are* on pins and needles around this parts of the interwebs. Anyhow, they reported it and it's good news for a lot of us around here, right?

We know that you're all on pins and needles right now waiting to find out when you can get your hands on those new HP PDAs, the iPAQ 110 and 210, and how much it will cost you when you do. Well, you're in luck, because the company has just added shipping dates and pricing to its website, thus making your Fall plans a little bit easier. If you'll recall, both WiFi equipped, Windows Mobile 6 devices feature color TFT touchscreens, Marvell PXA310 624 Mhz processors, and Bluetooth 2.0. The devices will be shipping on October 8th, with the 110 selling for $299, and the 210 for $399.

Make sure to check out our forums (formerly iPaqHQ.com) to discuss these new devices... Also, if you have been under a rock, Meet the New HP iPaq Line.

The 211, Might have a bar code & finger-print scanner, but I'm only guessing.

Thats why it may cost more.

Why... Why not include a GPS receiver, and charge $50 more?
I honestly don't understand this. Otherwise, it is one great looking device with all the features you would want to see on a Pocket PC.
However, I am glad that they kept CF in the 210 line.

Highly doubt that the ipaq 200 will be available to the general public before 28-Oct-2007.

The FCC documentation for the ipaq 200 will probably be made available for the general public on 28-Oct-2007.

Also, hp may also be waiting on Microsoft to publicly annoucnce support for Office 2007 compatability since this device is meant for the enterprise first and foremost.
