A Moment for Apple To Seize!!

Will Apple Support Third-Party Developers for iPhone?

iphit For months this has been the question and for months the response has been not forth coming.  Apple wants to do it their way and have tried their damndest to keep it that way but the writing is on the wall and Apple is going to have to come to grips with what people want.  If they don't, they will ultimately lose.

Richard Koman, newsfactor.com has an interesting article where he talks about the perpetual "cat-and-mouse game" that is ongoing between Apple and hackers and ultimately this "big distraction" could be a real opportunity" for Apple.  I agree!

Embracing third-party development is practically an imperative, Greg Sterling, principal analyst at Sterling Market Intelligence, said in a telephone interview. "Apple almost has to embrace third-party developers. The demand is so strong, the behavior of developers almost forces them to do this," he said.

You said it! I absolutely love the iPhone. It's beautiful and it would be even better if it had a community of 3rd party people like Aximsite and its developers to support it.
