Sweet! I squeezed by under the 90 day requirements for a free upgrade. The tabbed browsing is great, too.

Anyone used this with WBA 3? I have SPB PP 3.2 with WBA3... works very well together on my A12 X51v.

I can't find the repeating alarm function that version 3 used to have.
Sure hope they haven't removed it.

EDIT:
They have removed it.
I guess I'll be asking for a refund.
I'm getting pretty tired of features being removed from software apps with absolutely no mention of it.
An upgrade is fine but at least be honest about the changes involved.

So far it plays quite nicely with WBA3.
I did disble the PP task manager but then I did with PP3.2 as well.

You won't be able to use the new PP battery taskbar icon because WBA3 will cover it but you can still use the old-style line across the screen.
Of course if you use WBA3's line across the screen then you'll want to disable the one in PP all together.

How do you upgrade? Is it necessary to uninstall 3.2 and then make a clean 4.0 install - and then do all the setting up again?

Repeating Alarms

The Repeating Alarm feature will be available as a separate free download for Spb Pocket Plus soon.

The Repeating Alarm feature was done for Windows Mobile 2003 because WM2003 missed this feature. Windows Mobile 5 & 6 already include the repeating alarm feature. But I agree that the way how it is done in WM5 and WM6 is too "simple" and that advanced users would prefer the way how it was implemented in Spb Pocket Plus.

So we you will be able to install the Repeating Alarm feature for Spb Pocket Plus 4.0.

There are two options:

1. Just install Spb Pocket Plus 4.0 over your Spb Pocket Plus 3.2 and all your settings will be saved.

2. Backup Spb Pocket Plus 3.2 settings (Plus Options -> Tools -> Backup Settings), uninstall Spb Pocket Plus 3.2, install Spb Pocket Plus 4.0, and restore settings.

Thank you for mentioning that. We have invested a lot (more than 50% of all development time) in optimizing memory consumption, program size and speed. First we were not sure if it is right thing to do (instead of spending this time for making new features). But with all feedback we got we see it was a good investment.

I am a big believer in efficiency. tighter code shows effort in making an existing function/feature better than before. It deserves special recognition in my book.

It states 15 days in Chris' post at the top, so I'd go with that.

This really is a beautiful app. I would encourage users unfamiliar with it to at least give the trial app a spin. Personally I like to jump (via Wisbar 3) between iLaunch/PocketBreeze and Spb PocketPlus. I'm going to have to take a look at Spb Diary now too.

I'm a sucker for bigger, flashier icons and such...

Beautiful? Stunning, I've always used it as a tab of mobile shell, I rarely use start or spb menu.
