My old handheld marine gps just won't cut it anymore -- let's see, what's the lat/long of the nearest Starbuck's?? I may know the lat/long of where I'm standing, but I'm still lost! ;-)
The X51v has been crying for this kind of help! I've a few places in mind; Phoenix, New York, Miami and Anchorage.

I'll tell you why.
I have been using Oncourse Nav and a sat receiver from another company for the last 4 years and it just been UNRELIABLE. I need a reliable Nav software and receiver!! It needs to work when i turn it on.

My gps died after one of my kids drooled in it by putting it in his mouth...:(

It survived water once, but nothing can survive this! Yuck!

I need the GPS system because...Plain and Simple...I CRC (Can't Remember Crap). That's why it is very important to me to have my axim up and running for the reminders. It's to put it bluntly, My life. I'm so afraid of it going out I own two. The X5 and the X51v. So when I have problems with the X5 (used every day) I carry the X51v. Otherwise, I'll probably forget how to get home.
