I need this package because I travel often and don't like to use a physical map

Since the move, I had to surrender my old GPS to my wife so she can find her way. However, I am completely lost more times than not. But one must follow the "man-code" and never admit this to a female!
Geo-Tracking!!! Everyone is out there with those tiny screened GPS's and I will have my Axim x50v leading the way!! My boys love to go outdoors and this would enable us to add another demision to our adventures. They just started cub scouts and we have 3 hikes planned already. Last and final reason - my charger cord on my old window mount GPS only goes about 12" outside of my Jeep. Doesn't allow you to do much adventuring.....
I want it because at my age my memory is sarting to fail. I used to have a wife that was a good navigator but I am lost now. It took me a long time to find this thread. I am sure that this device will be cheaper than a wife especially if I win it. The no yelling part because we are lost is a great feature.

Small and light is perfect! Being in the Canadian military I often have to carry military versions of equipment that can be found smaller and lighter on "Civie Street" (as we call the civilian world). The CF Military "hand-held" GPS is a monstrous and ungainly thing and this receiver coupled with my personal Axim X51v would surely weigh less than a quarter of its weight. This equals "one less thing to carry" which is always a good thing. I would be able to take this easily on next years Nijmegen March in which I plan to compete. Believe me when you're marching 40 kilometres a day it pays to carry as little "personal weight" as possible.
I need this because I don't own and likely won't get to own a gps unit unless I end up winning it. We go hiking a lot and this would definitely help us keepndrom getting lost!
would like to use the VGPS-700 with my Sprint Mogul phone. It doesnt have a in-built GPS :( Plus I also need a good working software too. Using it for going on driving trips over the weekend since I've still yet to figure out how to read a map.
I didn't get the update to my current GPS software and definitely need a new one. This would be awesome! I could give my wife back her Mio Walker (which I bought for her car but somehow it never got there ;>) )
