Yesterday I posted a poll to decided the fate of the Pink Zune that I bought the other day.
Ok, now that I am out of the closet, here is my recent dilemma. I was so impressed with Ford/Microsoft's gesture donating 100% of the sales for the Pink Zune, that I couldn't live without it. Well, I did always want a Pink Zune, but I don't need it. I have a black and white one already and Zune 2 is around the corner. I got the Pink Zune and I don't know what to do. My daughter is happy with iTunes and has a ton of my money invested in songs on her iPod. My wife loves the size of the newest Nano and my son is rocking out with his Sandisk Sansa Shaker. As I type this, I am rocking POD in my right ear (Left earpiece is cocked up so I can hear the phone) through my Motorola HT-820 Bluetooth headphones via the ATT Tilt. SO, I DON'T REALLY NEED IT. So, I am going to have a vote on what I should do.
I am stopping the voting before the "Smash it on Video" option gains steam.... Earlier today, I posted on how you can donate to the Red Cross via MMS. This is the answer! Donate at least $5 to the Red Cross for a chance to win!
The Prize:
The Ford Pink Zune. This is a special edition pink Zune that was made to sell where 100% of the Profit goes to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
How to Win:
Donate at least $5 to the Red Cross in effort to help those that are in need after the fires in San Diego.
Post a comment after you do and then email chris (at) mobilitysite.com with a receipt or some other proof of donation. You must have a comment here (blog or forum comment) and the email to me to be eligible.
On November 5th, 2007 we'll select a winner at random.
I'm in. I donated online here. I'll email you my reciept or maybe the confirmation webpage as a file later today.

I am not entering but I did want to comment on what an outstanding idea for a contest this is. We should do more like this. I would be game for another contest like this one. Donations are always a good idea.
Confirmation email forwarded. Good luck to entrants, and thanks to all who have donated.:approve:

This is such a great idea.. Not sure if I shared that already but anyway.
I was just about to Donate and it looks as though the Red Cross is not taking anymore donations on there website for the Cali. Fire. I was wondering if the people that done have a cell that they can text in there donation(like myself) Can we donate money to another Red Cross Fund?
I donated to the National Disaster Relief Fund. This is such a great idea, Chris. Plus the Susan G. Komen Foundation is such a worth cause too. I'm glad Ford and Microsft are doing that.
