Know for its rugged handheld devices, Psion Teklogix is celebrating its 40th anniversary in style with the introduction of the iKôn. This ruggedized PDA phone offers a 3.7" VGA screen, 128 MB RAM, 128 MB ROM, onboard GPS, 2 megapixel camera, simultaneous Bluetooth, WiFi, GSM / GPRS / UTMS network options, and even a barcode scanner. All this and its topped off with a 5000mAh battery.
The iKôn also comes in Windows Mobile 6 Classic or Professional or even CE5.0. So rugged, you can drop the unit 5 feet onto concrete, polished or otherwise and is water resistant. Cost isn't yet known, but figures should be available this December when the iKôn makes its debut.
