T-Mobile Shadow, October 31 for $149.99

Shadow Engadget is reporting that the T-Mobile Shadow, formerly known as the HTC Juno, will be available on Oct 31, 2007 for $149.99. In addition, Gizmodo has some hands on photos. Click here to check those out.

The T-Mobile Shadow runs Windows Mobile 6 with a fancy, exclusive interface. It has WiFi, a 2 megapixel camera, OMAP CPU at 201 MHz, 128 MB RAM, and a QVGA screen.

Just $150? That's a great price, incredibly low, considering that they want $250 for the RAZR2. I assume they will require data plan to take advantage of that price.

I really like that front-end! I'm curious to see how it'll run with that 200mhz omap processor though, that thing can be a real dog sometimes. If it's slim enough I might consider that as a replacement for my backup sda!(the greatest smartphone ever invented) Hopefully I'll be picking up a tytn II this weekend, but we'll see. If not the tytn II, then I'm holding out for the s730. This thing is definitely on my list though...

And to answer the pricing question, $150 without a contract? In your wildest dream buddy! I'm willing to bet it'll be $300+ without a contract. And I thought I read somewhere that it's $200, or $150 with a new contract that includes a data plan, but I could be mistaken. I can't wait to see it in person! :-)
