Garmin announced today a partnership with MAD MAPS that will provide scenic reminders that traveling by car or motorcycle is more than simply reaching a destination.
Whether heading across the country or out on a weekend road trip, drivers can download and use MAD MAPS with their zumo or nuvi to find the road less traveled and more appreciated. After founder Jenny Lefferts moved to San Francisco in 1987 and started searching the Bay Area for scenic drives, she launched MAD MAPS (http://www.madmaps.com) to share the beauty of our back roads.
Beginning in December, Garmin will make three MAD MAPS product lines
