Folks who have been coveting the AT&T Tilt need covet no longer, for if you don't really care about an extra megapixel or autofocus on your camera and your Bluetooth GPS is doing just fine, then head over to HTC and get that official ROM update, available now until February 2008!

Here at Mobilitysite we're sticklers for safe, so be sure to do a full backup of your 8525 before ramming that ROM onto your Hermes, because the update will blow them away, requiring app/data reinstallation.  For you brave folks, and with any luck, you'll be sailing the cyberseas with a sweet new OS.

Ok, I just went over to HTC's U.S. site and all they had was the WM5 ROM that added the AT&T logo, the Cingular Video, etc. The 8525 page still says that WM6 is coming soon????

I'm already running wm6, but was considering reflashing anyway.

Depends on if someone will rip out all the unnecessary AT&T bloat
