The Samsung i760 --- Design and Features

What makes a device appealing? What draws you to look at a device to make a decision if you want it to be your constant companion for the next two years? I think it is design first, and then the feature set it offers.
The design is what caught me with the i760 and is why I decided to check it out and do a review when Chris asked if I was interested. There have been several devices that have crossed the Mobilitysite portals, all were nice but all of them just didn't have that special look th...

One benefit of the Samsung SCH-i760 design that the reviewer did not mention or did not notice is that when the phones keyboard is opened up and you are typing in a message, you can use the number keypad on the front of the device to key in numbers. Its like having a full keyboard plus numeric keypad in the device.

I absolutley love this feature as I have always been annoyed at having to press FN to get numbers entered using the standard Pocket PC keyboard on my XV6600. (yes, I know, it is time to upgrade).

I'm locked into Verzion through work and I was just about to beg my boss to let me expense the AT&T bills so I could get a Tilt (even though it meant losing my #), but then I played with one these at a Verizon Store and really liked the unique design of the device so I'm just going to have work order one of these.

BTW - I agree that the slider shifting when clicking the send button is annoying so I'll have to see how it is to really live with it.
