Above is the box.  Below is the box with the cover removed.

The box contains a small getting started book, because you don't need to be a brain surgeon to enjoy the iPod.  It has a sync cable (not pictured) the typical iPod headphones and a plastic docking piece that I don't use.

It's a lot smaller than my old iPod 20 GB second gen.  In fact, it's the same size as the Sansa View, only .4" wider.

Matte finish on the front, chrome on the rear.

Handsome profile.  The bottom has the sync cable connecter.

The top sports a hold switch and 3.5 mm headphone jack.

1, 2, 3, 4, show me the Cover Flow!  The first song I downloaded was from Feist.
