iPhone Owned.
Yes, this was out there with many other phones with a simple Bluetooth dongle. All you had to do, sit at starbucks, search for open bluetooth phones, and then send a few commands, and open the microphone, and have it call you back. Listen in. But this is much worse. That's why I had been against these phones with always-on connections. But what are you gonna do?
Guess what-------- Next up: iPhone Firewall by Apple! Not a big surprise, believe me. Or even if this guy works for Apple.

Well, it's a mac, so according to all the ifans, it is not possible for it to have security issues.
LOL @ ipwn in the terminal window, at the beginning.
I don't know why anyone would want to break into an iphone though, 11 year olds don't really have anything interesting to say.
It will never get fixed ether. When ever someone brings it up, apple will just say" OH BUT, PCS ARE TEN TIMES WORSE THEN MACS, IN FACT....", just like they do with their commercials, bash the competition because their product doenst have as many features.

I believe that's just the old tiff exploit used to jailbreak the iphone. After using the exploit, it's possible to establish an ssh connection to install 3rd party applications on the iphone.
Apple already patched this on firmware 1.1.2. It's also possible to patch the exploit without upgrading the firmware. The guy on the video is just using the tiff exploit to install 3rd party applications. Also note that the iphone root is password protected which can be changed from the default one.
So this is not really as scary as some people think it is. :)
