Verizon's XV6800 in the Wild

xv6800verizon Not too long ago, Andy Mason, reviewed the Qwest version of the Mogul, AKA the HTC XV600. Rumors of Verizon getting this one have been lingering for months and now Engadget Mobile has snagged a photo of the Verizon branded version in the wild.

In addition, this phone is now on Verizon's Website for $399 after $100 discount.

The new Verizon Wireless XV6800 combines all the performance and functionality of Windows Mobile 6 Professional with the convenience of a slide-out QWERTY Keyboard and trackwheel navigation. Create documents in Word and Excel, view PowerPoint files, filter your Inbox, and stay connected - securely - with your office via Wireless Sync or ActiveSync. Take advantage of Wi-Fi Connectivity, Bluetooth Wireless Technology and its 2.0 MP camera with flash and video capture. Use it as a tethered modem through BroadbandAccess Connect and stay entertained with Windows Media Player. The XV6800 is the ultimate no-nonsense mobile productivity tool for the busy professional.

Read on for the leaked shot and specs from Verizonwireless.com...

Wow ... they only put a 920 mAh battery in the thing? I'd be real surprised if you can actually use the thing for 324 minutes on that battery.
