Palm Centro and Samsung i760 ... It's all about Innovative Mobile Designs

pc Appeal ... that is the first determining factor for any device then everything else follows.  How do you get that "special look"?  Mathematics and the use of the different forms of symmetry!  Both Palm and Samsung have combined Point, Line and Rotational Symmetry in the design of the Palm Centro and the Samsung i760 giving it that "comfortable" look when you first see it.  The look is enough to make you want to investigate the device and see if it has what you want and need for your mobile needs.

MobileWhack  had an interesting piece up on a buyer behavior survey conducted by Strategy Analytics Wireless Device Lab.  The buyer behavior survey determined that the Palm Centro & Samsung i760 have the "Most Appealing Innovative Designs”.  There is no question that looking at these devices for the first time bring a "pleasing feeling" and a "comfort factor" that make you want to have it.  When I reviewed the Samsung i760, the look, the feel, the immediate comfort with the device was a first impression.  They were smart in the design, they used mathematics!

“The Samsung i760 and Palm Centro top the purchase likelihood table for those seeking a multifunction, fully integrated device,” according to Paul Brown, Senior User Experience Analyst at Strategy Analytics. “The Nokia Prism is perceived as the most feminine and fun new product, appealing to our Voice + Music segment.”

Approximately half tested US consumers who desire to buy a new mobile device in Q4, 2007 said they will go for The Palm Centro. It got even more positive response than Samsung i760, Nokia Prism, LG Rumor, and Pantech C810.

Which one will you buy? :)
