My favorite moment was when I realized that communities like Aximsite (and another three letter group of devs) had continued to make the x50v a current platform even though Dell gave up on their greatest creation years before. Thanx to all I am still using my x50v and am just as happy with it as the day I bought it.
P.s. don't tell that to my Tilt it tends to get a bit jealous ;)
Most of my many good Aximsire moments I remember that once I have read somebody's posting on Aximsite about applying Dell update for my x50v. That person told us about some glitch in Dell firmware and that if we want to apply the new upgrade we should save some file before and then copy it back after upgrade completed. I don't remember the details but If really saved me a lot of grief. I want to say thank you to all people who maintain Aximsite and posting to the forums.
Ohh, easy...in 2004 MrKlaatu gifted me with an animated holiday version of my avatar, it was sweet!! Especially as I was deployed in the Air Force and didn't have the know-how or the access do it myself. :approve:
Just one? Difficult to say, but probably all the way back when I got my first X5 with it's dual-slot goodness and discovered this forum. You'd be hard pressed to find a more helpful & friendly group of people (online or anywhere else) that have hung together this long enjoying and supporting one line of products.

my favorite moment was the huge thread that spawned about the developer who was shafted out of his advertising by handango, which ultimately led to the discovery of other screwy stuff they were doing and the closing of Aximsite's Handango store.

Definitely the day I found the Widcomm BT stack would work on my X51v, and I found complete instructions on how to do it. That day the horizons of possibility were expanded beyond measure. Thanks Aximsite!
The day i FOUND this site... i found it before i had my axim. In fact.. this site is what pushed me over the edge to purchase! I spent a lot of time on the Brighthand forums as a palm user at the time.. and decided i wanted to flirt with window mobile... I picked up an ipaq on ebay for $80... had a color screen and wifi. For a palm model with similar specs.. i'd have to spend $400 for a TX!!!! Strike one for palm.. once i got the ipaq in the mail.. strike 2 for palm.. i was LOVING it.. but it had the older windows 2003 on it.. and i wanted wm5... so i was shopping around.. found this site.. read about the x51v with the vga screen.. and fell in love again. The rest is history.
My favorite moment is the time that I win this contest. No seriously I love the contests, you guys/gals do a great job of putting together a great site.
I have to agree with so many others. My favorite moment was just finding this web site!
The moment that most lives in my memory was finding out that Dell was dropping the Axim X51 handheld product line. It is not a favorite memory but it is the one I will never forget. It affected me both at work and at home. It is one of those memories like "where were you when you first heard " about 9/11 or Challenger or John Lennon or John Kennedy.
I am so glad this web site has lasted beyond that moment.
