Man I hate to be using some-else's 'favorite moment,' but mine was when I first helped someone on Aximsite. I never had an Axim, (I had a Sharp Zaurus, then Sony Clie, then Ipaq, Treo 700w, now Treo700wx) but I've always been a pocket gadget freak. And I love coming to Aximsite to get help and to offer help. It is a great feeling to help people, whether it is a simple problem or hard. I always try to help, rather than be one of those who simply state, 'do a search' the answer is already here in the forums.
Oh, and Thanks for the opportunity to win. I appreciate it.
My favorite moment is when I discovered this post and just HAD to join Aximsite (at the time). It helped me get through some serious app data conversions and understanding what apps were compatible (or not) with WM5!
My most memorable moment was when the new website design was introduced. To some, this might seem silly, but I was still new. I was still getting used to the old one, then -BAM- you go and change it on me! How very confusing for a newcomer... It's been great though.
Ever since I was a little boy(not that long ago), I've loved gadgets and small devices. I didn't really know where to turn, until Mr. Jack Cook showed me the light. He showed me how to experience mobility(shameless plug, I know), and introduced me to one of the greatest communities I've ever known. Covering everything from E-readers to GPS. Mobilitysite seems to have it all.
So a big thanks goes to Jack Cook, for turning me on(don't get any ideas Jack) to Mobilitysite, and to mobilitysite as well. For being the leader in gadgetry.
The day I read this quote in this post by Radimus....
Political Correctness
"Political Correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end."
That's really easy-the day I signed on the forum and read tons of posts
only to realize that philosphy of "IF IT AIN'T BROKE DON'T FIX IT"
wasn't old fashioned as my Axim works.
