When we heard that the X50 owners would get the WM5 upgrade and all of us X30 owners were wondering if we were going to get a WM5 upgrade as well... of course the irony of the situation was that the upgrade was terrible for X50 owners.

Hehe um the most exciting was when I won a case. I chose a magnesium case for my x50v I <3 that thing :P otherwise its getting answers to my questions when I thought I had all the answers :o

I purchased an Axim x50v from Dell in mid-November 2004 and received it a few days before December 04. I wish I could remember the reason I came across this site but regardless I've never really left it.

Wow, I could have sworn I've made a post or two on aximsite but nope, nearing three years later, here's my first post after having registered. Thank you to everyone that have kept this site going all these years. My Axim and I salute you!

As for my favourite moment here, I think it would have to be about 20 minutes ago when I decided to log in and see just when I registered and realized that my post count was 0. I guess I had nothing to contribute because when I got here looking for information my questions were already answered!

My favorite moment here was when I got my 1st sticky (which was just recently) for a thread I made which featured an easy-to-use tutorial on how to recover an X50(mid) for all sorts of bricking scenarios.

My first day at Aximsite, I recovered 2 mb by moving the odyssey client, got WiFi to work, and added the stereo profile to bluetooth. The yield has been slightly lower since, but always worth visiting!
