Today is our 5th birthday and you know how *we* do it. (Friday reference) Anyhow. This main contest prize here is not designed to draw in new member, but mainly to reward the great members that we have here.
In the past, we have given away a Dell Axim as the main prize, but they are harder to find these days. The next best thing to the Dell Axim X51v is the HTC Advantage right? Anyhow, anyone that was hoping to win the HTC Hermes... sorry, this replaces the Hermes. I hope nobody minds.
How to win:
Simple as can be. Tell us your favorite "Aximsite/Mobilitysite/iPaqHQ Moment".
Winner will be chosen at random.
The rules:
1 post per member, more than one post will disqualify.
Members must be registered prior to Dec 12, 2007 (sorry, this contest is for current members) If you are signing up to win today, there will be other chances!
As much as I would like to include staff, I don't think we can for this one.
This device is not "brand" new, lightly used.
I reserve the right to change the rules to ensure fairness of the contest.
The Deadline:
December 23, 2007
It's that simple. I want to thank HTC for the prize.

I think my favorite moment was the day I learned I had won an HTC Advantage. Thanks, Chris!! :)
Seriously, I think the day the P&R forum was created. I think that was a huge step for Aximsite and a great way to give those of us who wanted it, an outlet, while not bothering the rest of the site with our senseless prattle.
Doug

my favorite moment was finding out that all i had to do was clean up the notifications queue to get my axim working quickly again. That was probably the single most frustrating problem i've ever had with it.
I think the first time I got to participate in an ASVFM ties with the first time I was actually able to help someone here rather than just receive help here :thanks:
My favorite moment was when I was planning on ordering my Dell Axim X5 and I found Aximsite. I was thrilled with the wealth of information available at the site and the very active user community that worked to help each other figure out problems and innovative ways to use their PDAs. Naturally I registered right away!
My favorite moment was the 15 minutes of fame that I achieved back in 2004 when you guys (and some other sites) linked to the online version of an article I wrote for Pocket PC magazine titled "40 Things I Did With My Pocket PC in a Week."
The moments change; every time I find a solution to a problem I've encountered on my x51v. Most recently; disabling activesync so it launches only when I want it to.
Thanks to everyone who contributes to the site.
My favorite moment was when Aximsite popped up in a Google search I did. Since then I've always had a huge community of people to lean on when I have issues with my Axim.
