Got a 128MB Perception Digital PD-098-01 which is very sensitive to the state of the battery
- actually it can't use a rechargeable one for more than half an hour or so
Isn't that an adequate reason ?
So, an iPod would be a huge step forward for me !
Sell it ? Why should I step back to the stone age again :p
I am not using any mediaplayer at the moment, well, I am using my pda as a mediaplayer, but that really isnt so convenient, especially with only a 500 mb storage card. What a difference 80 gb would make ....:)
I use my X51v, but more importantly Mrs Box uses a clunky old 1gb no name player from the marked down section of the local super market and as she is from the Dark Side she would love an Ipod, so, obvious brownie points for me.
Sell it!!!! Sell it!!!! You would have to pry it from her cold, dead hands.

I don't have a device to use for music, except the car radio. I would get lotsa use out of this baby. As for selling, if I ever upgraded it would be handed down to one of my sons. (But not for years).

Right now I use my X50v to listen to music and podcasts. It would be great to have the Ipod to have more storage. I also been wanting to get an Ipod but can't afford it.
I currently have a 2GB Zen V player for travel....However, I have a much larger collection of music, and would love the Ipod to have all my music easy at hand, but also it would be a complete backup of all my music...
I currently own a iPod Video U2 edition, but wow - 80 GB!
Of course, I'd agree to not sell it within 3 months as well.
And no, I wouldn't be putting it online on the first day after those 3 months either! ;)

Wowee. :) I am using the Sansa View 16 GB. So, 80GB would be...more. That would be fantastic for loading videos. Count me in.
Oh and I will not sell it. :)

Sweet!! I currently use my moto q for music so an iPod would be sweet! I agree to not sell it. The RSS feed is a great way to keep up with posts around here... I'll be watching!
1 Axim X50 that plays in the right ear only.
1 Nano 4G that plays in the left ear only.
Why to I want a new Ipod?
Do you know how hard it is to get both devices to start the same song at exactly the same time so that I can have stereo sound? Not to mention how I look wearing two headphones at the same time...
Hi Chris, thanks for asking; I listen to my daughter sing music, but she's not three yet and I don't often take her to construction sites, etc., and my Aximx50v isn't perfect for that either. The Apple Classic 80 would be great, and I won't sell it, but I'm sure it will be worth big bucks later on as you used it on set in a video ;)
My daugther wanted an iPod of her own for some time and finally got a 1GB Nano not to long ago, only to lose it (or have it stolen) a week later (needless to say, she was/is bummed). It would be nice to be able to provide her with a replacement, that is even better than what shalso an upgrade.
There is a chance we might be able to buy her a replacement for Christmas, and if we do, then her brother could use it as he has never had an iPod and wants one as well. (He won't be getting one for Christmas because we helped him buy his first used pit bike this summer as an early Christmas present.)
And, I can assure you that neither one would be selling it anytime soon.
