I have not experienced this on WLM on my mobile phone using my home wifi or AT&T network.....but it appears MANY others have..... how about you?

Prompt: 30 day trial message upon signing into Windows Live Messenger.

The message informs the user that they are starting a 30 day trial period, after which they will be able to buy an additional 30 days access.

• Seems to be network and device agnostic
• Also seems to be occuring on Symbian devices
• 3rd party IM clients (e.g. Palringo are unaffected
• Other Windows Live client functionality (mail sync, contact sync) is unaffected

Update: I am waiting on Microsoft's Official Response to this. We have been notified that Microsoft is aware of this. I will update this post when I hear more. (Chris)

This is odd. Why would MS want to charge people for this service, while almost all others provide it for free. It shouldn't matter where people connect to it from, since they bring their own connection, especially over mobile network.
