Windshield GPS Installations Illegal?

Windshield GPS Installations are illegal in Some States.

Currently, there are two states that prohibit drivers from putting suction cup mounts on their windshield while operating their vehicle– California and Minnesota.

Alternative mounting options include adhesive discs, vent mounts, and bean bag mounts.

I have never been a fan of window mounts. I use my window to see traffic. I mount my gps on the dashboard. It's easier to see and reach it that way.
