Pocket Sudoku is just the game for me.
My 10 best times playing 'Very hard' range between 3.10 and 4.00 minutes

My 10 best times playing Pocket Sudoku
Very hard: 3:26 - 8:57 - Still working hard on this level!
Hard: 1:11 - 2:41 - Still working hard on this level!
Medium: 1:14 - 1:28 - Not too bad?!
Easy: 0:42 - 0:47 - Not too bad?!
Very easy: 0:35 - 0:38 - Not too bad?!

I have marks on my screen (lucky it is only on the screen protector film) from all the Sudoku playing.

Best program on my PDA and it's for free!!!

Very nice scores, ZAX51VBMB

Actually I'm 5 sec slower in 'hard' compared to my 'very hard' :scratch_h

I haven't tried the rest ...

Three to four minutes to solve a 'very hard' Sudoku puzzle? WTF? It takes me 15 to 30 minutes to solve those things!

Man ... I feel pretty dumb....

Once you learn the little tricks, it becomes much easier. Although, I'm far from an expert. My best time on Medium is just under 7 minutes. But, I only play it a few times a day.

No need to, CB ... :)

Playing from your ax gives the advantage that you may choose to see the possible figures in each field as small numbers - look at the pic in post #1.
On paper you do it anyway - more or less.

The idea now is to look at patterns in the small figures and then disclose the impossible combinations - and select
the correct figure of course

Having played thousands of games and just recording the ten very best results gives that 'impressive' scorelist.

On papers I'm not faster than you :approve:

Oh ... I didn't notice that. Thanks guy.

I play on my PPC (Spiral Mile Sudoku) but I don't use any of the on-screen hints at all - strictly play raw puzzle. I guess that's why my times are longer.

I don't play with the hints either. I try to play it as if it was on paper. No hints or clues. Does get frustrating at time tho.
