Playing from your ax gives the advantage that you may
choose to see the possible figures in each field as small numbers - look at the pic in post #1.
On paper you do it anyway - more or less.
The idea now is to look at
patterns in the small figures and then disclose the impossible combinations - and select
the correct figure of course
Having played thousands of games and just recording the ten very best results gives that 'impressive' scorelist.
