MWC: the unwired looks at Opera 9.5 and Sony Ericsson EXPERIA X1

The unwired.net has posted a couple of videos of items at Mobile World Congress 2008.
the unwired: Hands on video with T-Mobile Ameo 16 Gb and Opera Mobile 9.5
Another highlight, in terms of software, of the recently announced T-Mobile Ameo 16 GB/HTC Advantage 16 GB is the fact that the device incorporates Opera Software's recently announced Opera Mobile 9.5. As Opera software mentioned in the previous meeting, the manufactures and carriers are the first customers to get Opera Mobile 9.5 and as John Wang, HTC Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), told us, this Opera Mobile 9.5 version isn't just the one which will be released later for consumers as well but HTC worked with Opera to adopt it to the HTC TOuchFLO interface of the HTC Advantage/T-Mobile Ameo:
Opera Mobile 9.5 is super fast and takes all the advantage of a VGA device.
the unwired: Hands on video with Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 Windows Mobile Smartphone
Sony Ericsson added their own user interface on top of Microsoft's original Windows Mobile user interface, quite similar what HTC does with TouchFLO.
This means that the user interface is present on the first level only and after all applications are based on Windows Mobile, as you might expect it anyway:
You will noticed in the video, that the device seems to be somewhat slow - sometimes. Sony Ericsson promised that this will be fixed with the release device, especially because the 520 MHz Qualcomm CPU should be powerful enough and Sony Ericsson also told me they will take benefit from the graphics hardware acceleration as available for Qualcomm chips.
