One of the reasons I only upload my videos to Youtube is that it takes a decent amount of time to upload a large movie. If it were easier, i'd upload it to Revver, Google Video, and others. I know there are services out there that will assist with this now and one of them is one you can use on your phone, Juicecaster. Check out this cool video they've done to explain how it works. Really cool if you are all into that social networking thing...
