Most of you know mine, but what is your history?

Yes, that's all you have to do.

The deadline on this one is Dec 31st, 2008.

My history is very brief:

Bought an AT&T Tilt in March of this year...in love with it! Although it's seeming to be time for a new phone, as this one has had its share of wear and tear, as I use it for everything! I had regular cellphones in the past, but won't ever go back...the stuff these smartphones can do is amazing!!!

I've kept my phone & PDA separate - mainly cos I need a work phone & they won't buy me a smartphone :( Currently have a nokia 6021.

My first PDA was a iPAQ 3950 back in 2004. I found this wonderful site soon afterwards :). The 3950 was an excellant machine! shame the charging circuit died.

Whilst my 3950 was still in the land of the living I aquired a 3660 from a friend - mainly for the PC Card Expansion jacket. These machines were sooo versitile! Got a wifi card, BT etc. Still have the 3660, but the battery wont old a charge for more than 30 mins.

Was left without a PDA for a year or so and could not live without one for any longer. In a moment of madness bought a rx5935. and am still in love with it - 2gb memory + SD card, BT, wifi & GPS

Unfortunately, I didn't have a PDA or smartphone until now. So my PDA/smartphone history is equall to zero. Does this exclude me from this giveaway? I hope not.
The most advanced mobile phone I had is my current one, a Nokia 6500 Slide. I don't think it can be called a smartphone, but it is pretty smart. And good-looking :D
This would be the perfect time to be initiated in the smartphones domain if I win, don't you think? ;)
Thanks!

My PDA History

I first had a Palm, don't remember what model but very much enjoyed the experience. Then my son wanted the palm and I bought a Sony Clie' which was a good machine but I missed the simplicity of the Palm. That finally died and I bought another Palm and became greedy. I bought the extremely sexy and expensive Dell Axim. The graphics were great but I had to get use to the whole WM and activesync experience. I was dismayed when I realized that I had bought the Axim when they were basically not going to be made anymore.:(
Looking forward to a day when I can again have the thrill of a new device.

OK i see some users mentioning 4 machines, and considering that a very short history, mine is even shorter, it just includes the Cingular/ATT 8525.

Being a poor medical student and the fact that i don't live in the states mean that i pay full cost for my devices, so before i move to another phone, i will either have to wait for the prices to drop or graduate & get a job:P (Thankfully that day is soon coming...8 mths to go!!!)

I've been watching the fuze, diamond & touch HD with much interest i would love if HTC would release a Touch HD w/ a keyboard, that to me would be the perfect device.

But a Fuze would very much be welcomed :)

I can't really say I have a history with pda phones or even smart
phones because I've never owned one but I think the htc fuze would
make a great introduction into the world of smart phones as it seems
like a really great phone.

I have never owned a pda, nor have I ever owned a smartphone. If the truth be told, I have never owned a cellphone, period. I usually borrow a family members. I anticipate needing my own phone in the near future, so I decided to enter the contest on this last day.

My first PDA was an HP Jornada 540. I quickly followed that one up with an HP Jornada 560. Both of these were mind blowing at the time, but soon became frustrated with using them outdoors. I quickly followed these with HP IPAQ 2210 and and HP IPAQ hx4755. Both of these devices I still play with occassionally.

I decided carrying 2 devices (phone/pda) was stupid, so I purchased an AT&T 8525. I really loved this devices, but started having difficulty charging. USB connection seemed worn. Since the device didn't have a warrenty, I found an AT&T Tilt on ebay. That is where I am at today.

I was all set to purchase a Fuze, but urgently needed some kitchen appliances replaced and had back surgery 2 weeks ago, so funny money now all gone. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Happy New Year!
