My favorite is SPB Backup. It's always worked wonders for me, worked every single time, and it supported WM5 when it came out when other products didn't and the built in program sucked.
I've always used SPB Backup, and it saved my life once. A investment well made, I'd say.

I like mobil shell because you can have all your regular viewing items and settings on one screen. Right now I have to have various programs and plugins to achieve this.
It might seem silly, but I think SPB Full Screen Keyboard is just great! The built-in keyboards require a stylus and I am trying to only use a finger all the time. With this nice little keyboard, I'm good to go.
While I like Mobile Shell I wish it could go deeper into the OS and provide finger scrolling and swipes on other apps. Maybe down the road...
I have used SPB Pocket Plus for years now since owning a Dell Axim X51v. I love it because it was the first application to have a true close program button, made accessing all of my icons easier, and always had a nice easy to use interface. SPB, you rock!
I read somewhere that SBSH and SPB are in a kind of friendly competition. I started using SBSH software (iLauncher, Pbreeze, Pweather) and stuck with them.
Just before selling my X50v I loaded the trial versions of Mobile Shell and Pocket Plus. I used them until they expired, and I sold the X50v following a hard-reset. I liked the 3D transition in the interface very much, but as I said I haven't had much time to experience the full potential of them.
How about winning a copy now, so that I could be converted?
