Well, judging from recent events, it might well be better to wait for the frenzy to be over....

Is it worth it? I guess you have to be the judge of that but it is not too me. So you don't get it today, but I'll bet you might get it next week or the week after or maybe even after Christmas ... but you will get it. So why wait in line at spot #23 when you know that they only got 20 units?
The PS3 is not for me, partly because it will be £400 here, which is rediculous but mostly because I don't really like the games that are released on the PS consoles.
I want to get teh Nintendo Wii, looks good and classic Nintendo games, can't be beaten.

I'll most likely never buy a PS3. It just isn't worth it to me. I'd rather pour the money into computer upgrades. I can do a whole heck of a lot more with a computer than I can a game console. The whole thing is just getting ridiculous.

Gail Huff, a local Boston reporter said in Boston about 500 people waited at the Copley Place Mall and what did they get .... near-riot conditions. Boston Mayor Menino was definitely not a happy person....
People are brilliant: I want your new PS3, I will kill you for it. I will go to prison. I have no more stolen PS3 (but alot of new friends!)
Why?
I always end up buying a PS when the next version is coming out. When I bought my PS, PS2 came out a few months later and guess what, I bought my PS2 a year ago... hehehe soo.. its gonna be a while until I get the PS3. But the graphics really look good... Maybe I'll get it when GT5 comes out.

well as much as I like my ps2 I feel no need to join the ultra first wave of ps3 users. Or even the early adopters. When the next hardware revision comes then I might think about it....
OH did I mention when I bought my PS2, the slim version came out. Maybe I'll wait for a slim version of the PS3. It looks kinda big to me right now.
