So you decided to give (or get) a SlingBox for Christmas? Cool! I expect it will be a terrific experience. Just a reminder for those of you that do get a new SlingBox, check the version of the software. Sling has been pretty good about posting updated versions on their web site and the latest and greatest is up there ... SlingPlayer PC 1.4 There are a host of new features, such as improved video quality, online registration, improved player controls ... and on and on and on. I wouldn't mind getting a Slingbox eventually. I just don't think that I would appreciate it as much right now living in a non-evdo area.
