When Apple released the 2nd Generation iPod Shuffle (1gb), I was astounded at the size, how small it was. Two things popped into my mind. One how cool it was, and two, given it's size and design, there couldn't be much of an after market for options for it. I was wrong on the second item. There have been several accessories showing up for it, most notably covers to protect it. Several are shown here.

Yes it is small but lack of screen still makes it unusable for me. I had the original shuffle, and although it was small and useful, there are different players at same or even smaller size that offer small digital screen. There was the CUBE player which is smaller by footprint but takes a bit larger space, i would go for that instead of shuffle.
