Set your CE Clock in 2007

The Energy Policy Act of 2005 was passed to help alleviate energy concerns across the nation. One part of the act that will affect computers is the extension of Daylight Saving Time by four weeks. Instead of changing to Daylight Saving Time on the first Sunday of April, it will now begin on the second Sunday of March. Additionally, it will now end on the first Sunday of November rather than the last Sunday of October. These time changes will still all take effect at 2 a.m. on their respective days.

Microsoft has released daylight saving time updates for the United States and Canada in 2007 and in subsequent years on Windows CE-based devices.

Thanks to Craig for the tip!

This is just craziness. We should just abolish this altogether and stop this confusion already.

Here's a link to a thread on another forum where someone has posted a .CAB file that adjusts the registry (per the guidelines offered by Microsoft) for windows mobile 2003 & WM5.0 devices:

2007 Time Zone Update information for WM devices - PDAPhoneHome.com

I have not tried it out, but from the responses from the participants in the thread, it seems like it will work.
