How many Card Readers do you carry?

We all have need for different types of card readers and some of us have quite a collection ... as well as a frustration because they consume so much space in our mobile accessory bag. Buffalo has a new offering and it is a new 29-in-1 card reader that supports 8G CFs and 8GB SDHCs.

Measuring a very compact 59x54x16mm, this could be a great addition to any accessory bag.

I had a card reader......and one of the kids 'borrowed' it. I guess I ought to think about replacing it :)

And this one supports 8G.....

Thanks for pointing that out!

Card readers are almost on every laptop, if it doesn't have it I don't buy it.
Although sometimes it is much faster to just use the USB directly through the unit and use whatever the card is in as the reader.
I have SD, SM, MS, XD, reader on my Toshiba, I really hate the fact that i need to use the adaptor for the MiniSD and also for the MS DUO PRO. But it is fine and very fast.

I have two SD card readers, two CF card readers, and one "10-in-1" multi reader (SD, CF, MS, XD, SM). I used the multireader at work. Maybe I'll install it on my home PC now.

The built-in reader on my desktop stopped working, so I bought a cheap 8-in-1. This new one looks like it might be worth picking up. Though by the time I get it, we may need a 100-in-1 for all the formats they keep coming up with. (Okay, I am exaggerating a *little*)

I have a USB 24-in-1 one. Just one little device and it works if I'm on the go. My Compaq comes with a built in reader for the major formats.
