Video Glasses that look pretty cool as sunglasses too

In continuing the pursue their goal of being the world's leading distributor and online reseller of video eyewear, glasses, goggles, head mounted and wearable displays, 22Moo expands the current range with no less than 11 new models with another 7 on its way.

22Moo's current range of video eyewear weighs only a fraction more than a pair of sunglasses and features far less cabling. No longer an item just seen on sci-fi movies, it is now becoming more and more popular amongst commuter's, dental surgeries and hospitals, PC gaming clubs, internet cafes and etc.

Over the last couple of years, the increase in the availability of mobile audiovisual content has seen many people purchase a MP4 video player, such as the iPod Video, and filled it up with movies and video fragments.
Simulating virtual screen's of 35" to an incredible 80", the video glasses / eyewear range is creating a mobile virtual theatre experience for your favorite music video, TV shows, movies, and video pod casts while on the move.

Say goodbye to squinting at the 3.5 inch screen with the sun reflecting of the display in the afternoons.

22Moo's new line up includes the VG240, VG910, VG920, VG920D. PlayMate MMC, Argo, Argo+, Argo+Cinema, VG100K, and the VG-350 22Moo - Products

The VG240, utilizing two CyberDisplay 230K microdisplays that simulate a 50" virtual screen at 1M, has a very slim size and is the lightest (only 1.6 oz) on the market.

The VG910, is based on the best selling and very popular VG-SD. However, it now comes with an improved display of 922k Pixels (640 x 480 @ 24bit colour).

The VG920 is a VGA video eyewear using Kopin's BDM-922K to simulate a 80" virtual screen at 1M. This supports a standard AV interface and can connect directly to the iPod Video and Zune players.

The VG920D with the 3D feature and the PC interface needs no battery box since it takes power from USB port and video from RGB port of a PC.
Imagine watching movies or viewing photos on large 35" Screen from 2M away on a device that weighs only 120 g / 4.2 ounces. This is what the PlayMate Mini Media Center will deliver. Not only does it support movies and photos but also music and games.

Introducing the world's first video glasses that doubles up as sunglasses - the VG-100K and the first consumer video eyewear to feature LCOS technology and a WQVGA resolution -- the VG-350.

Wow! pretty cool Chris. BTW the first link is not working. I get a blank page with "/product" on the top left corner.

I wonder if they have a model that will work with the soon to be released i-mate Ultimate series PPCPE devices that have direct video out XGA standard in all models?

Very cool gadgets.. I wonder how well they actually work though.. I mean, no doubt they do work well, but could they eventually be a replacement for a monitor?
