It's not over till it's over ...

Chris Zieglerfrom Engadget Mobile posted a story today about - Palm to serve up "ultra thin" WiMAX smartphone this year?

He did say to plant this firmly in the "unsubstantiated rumor" category but he referenced that Palm just might be getting ready to "swoop in late this yearwith an "ultra thin"smartphone that'll rock WiMAX out of the box".

Based upon Sprint getting ready to start using their WiMAX networkand with the need fornew and exciting devicesto work on it,thishas the potential of being the beginning of a great new marriage. What will Palm's new device be like? Word is that it will be thin and fast ...but no hints as what OS it will use. If I were to hazard a guess, I would expect Palm to continue withWindows mobile ... here's hoping!

I shall be waiting and watching to see if Sprint does something. Thanks for the heads up Jack.

It's been coming for a long long time.

As soon as the fabled OS ships there will be a lot of devices. Until then its
