Our good friends in Australia and New Zealand will soon be able to purchase a Samsung Q1 Ultra Mobile PC.

Tablet PC Distributor Tegatech Australia announced the availability of four new Ultra Mobile PC (UMPC). Tegatech announced that they would be making them available to the Australia/New Zealand marketplace as soon as first week April 2007. The devices - all flavours of Samsung’s successful Q1 model - will sport faster processors, brighter screens and even a Flash Memory Hard Disk Drive (HDD).

Samsung Q1

The original Samsung Q1 has been available to Tegatech resellers since September 2006. It was introduced with a 40GB HDD, 512MB of RAM, an Intel Celeron Processor and sustained little over 2 hrs of battery life. The new stable of Samsung Q1 will now feature:

• Samsung Q1B Ultra Mobile PC
• Samsung Q1 Ultra Mobile PC
• Samsung Q1P Ultra Mobile PC [Windows XP]
• Samsung Q1P Ultra Mobile PC [Windows Vista]
• Samsung Q1P Ultra Mobile PC Solid State Disk (SSD)
