The Boy Genius Report indicated that while Google Maps has long been the most cost effective and free provider of mobile mapping and directions, the only problem had been its lack of support for internal or external GPS.

However the Boy Genius Report is confirming that it works with the internal GPS on a BlackBerry 8800. So with Google claiming compatibility with other devices, we all just might luck out.

Can't get GPS to work with my Cingular 3125 and Garmin GPS 10. Windows Mobile Live Search DOES wotk with these devices. Anyone have any clues. I want to like this app since it also has some international coverage that Live Search doesn't.

I'm using an XV6600 with Pocket PC 2003, and I don't even see anything in the menuing about GPS...

I checked the version, and it's showing as 1.0.1 - is that correct??!!
