My good friend Andy Abramson is a true "Global Nomad" traveling from here to there and back again and has over time decided what he wants in a hotel before he books a room.Andy will admit that he is a "high maintenance" sort of guy but when you travel as much as he does, you can appreciate why. In part Andy says:

...as a person who is spending more days a month on the road than in my own house I've pretty much nailed down what I want and need in order to be a road warrior/global nomad beyond a very well informed front desk and a "we'll get it done right concierge."
