I've never seen such a congestion of information on a home page. Didn't find the free bible either.

I am pleased with Olive tree

Olive tree is free, has several versions of bibles free and a large selection of other bibles to buy. It also has reference materials that are a nice resource as well. And it is very easy to use. I installed on my SD card and it runs quite well.

I used to have Olive Tree on my Visor but I cannot get it to work on my Axim. It will never install correct. But it is really great software.

The esword is a great program I have it on my desktop but for the ppc it is a monster and was running a little on the slow side.
I personally use Laridian Pocket Bible www.laridian.com I don't have that kinda time my preacher will leave me at leviticus running that slow.

Hello, I Tried the e-sword . I downloaded all the books I wanted and I installed the bible program and the books on a sd card and it always failed. I emailed the programmer and he said Axims and one kind of HP also had problems. If you had luck with it, let me know how you did it. Do you think installing the program on the Axim and books on a card will help. Thanks for your replies to this.

I agree Laridian is great!
This is one of the few times I've paid for a program when there are similar free programs. But none of the others would give me the ESV, the Life Application Study notes, The Bible Knowledge Commentary from the Dallas Theological Seminary
