Well...I've also got a Microdrive..that's not solid state..and what if one day I had both my SD (in its nice little magnetically closed case) and my microdrive jingling in my pocket...what's going to happen? Maybe nothing? who would want to risk it?

A MicroDrive MIGHT have a problem........but VERY DOUBTFUL.

Do you think they'd even sell them if they could erase data, and then be subject to the ensuing lawsuits??
