New features include Windows Mobile 2003 support, and support for landscape mode. I purchased BP 2004 from handango, and I was able to download the pro version. They are offering a $5.00 upgrade for users of previous versions.
If you purchased BP 2004, you should be able to download the upgrade.
Did you need a registration code after you downloaded and installed BPPro? When did you buy your BP2004?
I can download the program via my old handango download link, but I'm afraid it'll only be trial version which stops working after a certain amount of time.

Any thoughts?
I've just downloaded through my old Handango order and it installed ok. It extracts to a different directory than BP 2004, so if it does expire, you can re-install the old version from C:\Program Files\Omega One\Battery Pack as the setup is still there, unless you've deleted it.
Update:
The link to my old order on Handango is for the Pro version, but that's a Trial which will require an unlock code after it expires.
Does this mean that it's the end of the run for 5.x versions (non-pro)? And for those that may not have saved the 5.x version, can they download it somewhere to be used in the event of a hard reset?
Strange that we can't get to the version we paid for.
I ran into the same thing too. I thought that since it downloaded from where I purchased it, it was a full upgrade. When I tapped the one of the features late last night, it informed me that it was a trial version that requires a code. i have since uninstalled it and reinstalled 5.3.2.
My question is, why aren't they letting you download 5.x.x since we've paid for it. If one looses the install file completely, we are forced to pay the $5 to get 6.0?? I'd still like to have the ability to obtain 5.2.3, as I haven't noticed and discernable differences with 6.0. I would pay the upgrade fee once I go to WM2003SE, but that won't be for a while.
Sorry if I confused anyone, I thought it was the full upgrade.
Sorry, you posted the same convern over the download issue. Maybe we can get with our vendors (or O1) and ask that they provide continued access to 5.x for those of us who don't need 2003. I think that would be way fair! I'll do some checking and let you know what I find.
I shot off an email to O1 with our concern. In the meantinme, I would advise that we register for the $5 upgrade offer just in case they come back and say we must upgrade. We don't know how long they'll offer the upgrade price, so we might as well get the code while the gettin's good. 5 is better than 20 :-)
Basically, you give them BP 2004 your order info and they send you a code to use that lowers the 6.0.0 price to $5 @ handango.
All it mentions is that "all features now work in landscape mode". I wasn't aware that they didn't work before, of course I dont' use landscape mode.

The image is rotated 90 degrees so the image is now wider than it is tall (and thus a similar ratio to a normal computer screen). It's advantagous for quite a few applications.
While several 3rd party applications work in landscape mode now, I do not think any of the M$ software does. That's what the 2nd edition will fix (among other things).

The newer versions have allowed both static and scrolling lines, up to 10 each; you can select the # of each through the Today Screen-Items-Program Bar options.
V6.0 looks like a big rip off. There is nothing there that looks must have. Looks like another way for them to make $5. The real problem is that we were suppose to get free upgrades for life and so they change the name to Pro and charge you $5. I propose that we all boycott v6.0.

Markstock -
I am in complete agreement with you. I've noticed nothing different, and it's basically just an update which supports 2003 SE. I've emailed O1 asking them why handango isn't providing the 5.3 download anymore. I posted the same question on the BP forum as well. We'll see what happens.
My stance is this: I'm not going to pay for an upgrade until I go to 2003 SE. I hope they'll still offer the 5.3.2 download to us paid subscribers!! No five bucks droppin' out of this pocket!
