Hey dwoolley: It is obvious you have an itch that needs to be scratched. You took direct "offense" to what I said. So...why don't you do everyone a favor and cancel your order!

Economics? Commerce? What book would you recommend? As is typical is this land of the FREE, immediate gratification is all most seek.

Instant gratification? You're missing the point again. They (not me) promised 24-48 hour turnaround time, they (not me) promised it would ship yesterday.

I would cancel the order in a heartbeat if they would tell me (and others) the actual shipping date (at this point I'm expecting the end of July).

You expected 2 weeks minimum...at least you won't be disappointed then.

dwoolley: I am not a member of the Boxwave fan club, nor will I ever be. As a matter of fact, I have never joined a fan club in my life. I will provide truthful reviews of products I have purchased, and companies I have done business with.

You can cancel your order at anytime, even if it arrived to you. We will reimburse you completely because this is a group order INCLUDING shipping and handling. Just let me know.

It was never my intent to cancel if the order was processed in a timely manner....I've received a reply saying it shipped today (but then again I've received that same email before)....

I go and check the order status and sure enough its still "pending shipment".

Why is this so difficult? What is the real status?

You may have explained this already and if so I apologize, I didn't see it. When does the discount post (back on my charge card) on these orders? Should it be applied by now? The charge is showing, but not the credit.

Update: I got the credit! It hit my account today. 30% off! Yay! By the way, I had no problem receiving my order -It came only 2 days after I ordered it, regular mail. I'm very satisfied!

Some advice:

* Don't trivialize a customer concern by using the word "slight". Its obviously important to the customer
* Be upfront. I've heard the delay is due to the volume and complexity of the group order, system problems, backorder issues and now its the shippers
* Plan ahead. Boxwave implement a group purchase to drum up more business and can't handle the volume of transactions? Out of stock? Not enough staff?
* Fix the orders. There are a bunch of people in the X30 forum that are upset. Not good for return business or word of mouth/keyboard. You should contact them individually if you care about repeat business
* Exceed expectations. TwoShipps expects his stuff to ship in 2 weeks but wants the products before he leaves for Brazil. It might be a once in a lifetime opportunity. Make sure he gets his order shipped.
* Be proactive when problems arise. Contact the customer via email before they contact you. That way they aren't left in the dark.

And lastly as of right now....my order is still Pending Shipment.....

I sent this message to customer service:

This order was supposed to have been shipped on 6/21/04.
Order Status says "Scheduled".
When should I expect the shhipment?

My take on this:

I would agree with Dwoolley here!
Fortunately I am not in a big hurry to get my order. I can wait, I'm still protected. I would like honest answers to my questions though. I am taking the word of other Aximsite users that the product is worth it, so I wait...:rolling:
