With my luck, I will end up selling my soul to the devil and still not win anything from any contest...

So, to save myself of frustation, I purchased the game instead. One mistake - I showed the game to my wife, and now she want's one!!!

Let me win!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

sigh...

Hmm Re: Win one of three copies of the Travel Collection

I travel a lot and most trips are long and PAINFUL. Games are an excellent way for me to pass time, especially after I'm tired of reading, writing, listening to music, talking to traveling companions and eating.

These are all of my favorite games ... in a single offering! FANTASTIC

What can I say that makes me stand out - well I was hired to only travel 25% but that quickly turned into 80%. So I am away from my family quite often and sitting at the airport more often than I wish to imagine. Not to mention that I sit in the most boring talks that one could ponder and need something that will make me look like I am fully interested in what the heck these people are jabbering about.

Well not to add to the burden but everytime my wife and I are together somehow my axim becomes hers and she needs something to occupy her time which is supposed to be spent with me.....can you feel the pain

im always traveling back and forth to the middle east and ever since i was a little kid i liked tic tac toe and all the dots games, this Travel Collection from Pocket Adventures seems an A++ work of graphics game to implement the "dots" games on the PPC platform, it seems to me an A+ classic boards games travel collection.

i have actually tried the trial version and all i can say is goodjob on the graphics.

I fly a lot for both bussiness and pleasure, and those long flights tend to be very boring. These games would make the time more enjoyable for me. Plus they will give me a chance to practice these games, and then take my son on in a challenge.

Cool One Copy Please

I would like to say that having this game set would help me, but I would be wrong. I would probably cause more problems then you can imagine, but then again you never know. First of all, my wife is a solitaire fanatic when we travel, as soon as we get on a straight road (this takes a while in West Virginia) she asks for my Axim. Okay, she says "PDA Please". So I reach into my vest and hand it to her.

She then starts this endless game of solitaire, meanwhile in the back seat; both my boy's (age 6 and 8) are either playing with there gameboys or complaining that they didn't bring them and asking when it is there turn to play with the PDA. Since it takes about one hour to get anywhere here in WV, I get to hear this allot. Then on the off chance that they do bring their gameboys, they either want a new game or they want to play my PDA. "Dad, can we play Snails, Please Dad". Of course I don't have my Dell, my wife does, remember she took it right after we hit a non-extreme curvy road.

I can see the advantages of having more games on my Axim, first if nothing else my boys would be able to learn to play more then Snails, not that I mind, but that is normally one of those games that requires lots of help from Dad (Remember I am driving). Second, maybe my wife would learn to play something other than solitaire, not that this is a bad game either, but I keep having to replace the screen covers because of the same drag lines in the same spots (kind of reminds me of missile command).

So I would say that by have this game collection would not only be a good thing, allowing each member of my family to learn to play a new game, but it would also save me some money on screen covers, or would it?

Have fun making your choice, and remember it is not the gift, but the reason for the gift.

No doubt this would help my wife with her "back seat driving" during long trips. If I am lucky it would keep her eyes off the road!

Worried

Why do I deserve a free copy of Travel Collection? Good question. Like everyone else, I travel a lot internationally and domestically, take road trips, sit in tons of boring meetings, etc. But the number one reason I feel I deserve it...I DON'T HAVE IT!! And when you travel a lot, you know that it is very important to have GREAT games when nature calls. Nothing worse than sitting for a while with nothing to do. Jawbreaker gets real boring after a while...these games are like an old hat. Always interesting...never boring.

So, how would it help me in my travels? It wouldn't necessarily help me in my travels, but it would greatly enhance them, defining enjoyment as a wonderful game, instead of a germ-filled airplane magazine where everything is too expensive anyway.

Outie....

I don't travel a whole heck of a lot. Instead since I use the bathroom everyday I use that as my game time. I would have a great time practicing my gaming skills with this set of classics.

Pick me, Pick me.

P.s. my time is up, someone is knocking on the door.

Why I cant live without it.

What could be better than all the travel games you loved as a kid in the palm of your hand? Not only is this program nostalgic but it’s also fun. I can’t think of how many times I thought I’d go nuts on a flight with nothing to do but read an overpriced catalogue full of junk, or pay $5.00 for headphones just to watch Spartacus for the 500th time. This program is a life-saver for anyone who likes to travel light and still bring along something fun to do. Since you were going to bring that PDA for business anyway why not use it to help keep you sane? This program is the best thing that ever happed to any frequent flier. That is of course, unless you enjoy watching Charleston Heston run around in a skirt.
