Right, I may be a newbie to this site and to my axim, but I still think that my Axim deserves to be pimped, however, it looks as though there is tough competition.
I got my nice shiny Axim X3i for Christmas last year, after my previous PDA (NEC MobilePro P300, not much of a loss anyway) was stolen. Everyday it travels to school with me in my pocket, it's only protection being a Dell Leather Case. While this does the job, it doesn't offer as much protection as an Aluminium case. When I'm at school, my Axim attempts to keep me organised, telling me what and where my next lesson is, and whether I was meant to have done homework for it. Obviously, the standard Pocket Outlook tools don't do a good enough job, as homework sometimes ends up not getting done, and I occasionally turn up late. Therefore, my Axim needs to be pimped up with Agenda Fusion, as it will definately keep me more organised.
Not being totally organised also causes other problems. Sometimes, halfway through the school day, I go to power up my Axim, and discover that there is no battery remaining as I had forgotten to charge it the night before. The Little Sync cable and Power bundle would come in very handy here, so I could charge my Axim from my laptop, or if I'm feeling too lazy to turn that on, from the AC socket, or finally, if someone has already nabbed all the AC sockets, from the AA adaptor. The $25 Handango voucher could also be put to use here to invest in Battery Pack, and remind me to charge more often
Being a teenage male at school, and also feeling very stereotypical at the moment, if thats a word, my hand writing is appaling. It normally takes at least three attempts to enter a word properly, perhaps thats why I turn up to the wrong lessons. The tengo software looks to be the ideal software to solve this, and looks similar to the T9 text input on mobile phones, which is good.
The Resco Media Suite and the other games also seem to be just the things I need. The perfect things to pass time on the school bus, or to use instead of doing homework. Right, I think that covers everything, apart from the WriteShield Screen Protectors, which will be essential to keep the screen of my maybe soon to be pimped up axim safe.
One last note, I would save up and go and buy these things myself, but I live in Singapore so international shipping is expensive, and the Pocket Outlook programs forgot to remind me when the walk in interviews for several jobs were. Good Luck everyone

Dear Pimp My Axim,

When reading about this contest I for some reason (don't ask me why) started to hum Mr. Sandman bring me a dream. Like all the other posts I do and don't really need to win this contest. I have had my 5x for a little over a year and love it. This site has been my godsend to useing it to it's fullest potential. I tend to come to this community when I need to have a little boost in my day.
Now on to the reasons I would like my AX Pimped. I am a college student and have classes starting soon (about 2 weeks). I work full time to pay for school and my life. I just recently found out that I will be a dad for the first time and am very excited but aslo scared. Any dads out there I would love some advice. Anyway with all that I won't have the opertunity to pimp up my axim for quite a while.
Well that's my sob story. But really I think this contest is a great idea and thank you for puting it together.

Peace out!

I'm sure you've seen that new Toyota commercial copying Pimp my ride, but just incase you have not they take this old POS car and replace it with a new Toyota and the lady is amazed that it looks nothing like her car. This is what would have to happen with my PDA.
I attend The Ohio State University and a year into my 5 year teaching degree I bought a monochrome m500 Palm. In about 2 seconds I filled the memory with Pics of my family you can't see, advantgo web pages that are missing all the links worth looking at, and 4.0 student files.
This year I'm begining to student teach and just had my second little girl. I am out numbered three to one already and as we plan to have 2 more it could be out of reach pretty quickly. I had to give four years of my life in the military just to afford college and with teacher salaries being what they are I don't see being able to afford a X30 let alone the accessaries because I'll be paying off loans and buying dresses. Go Buckeyes!!!

Nice Prizes folks!

Although many of the other posters appear to have greater need than I do, I also feel that I need to have my Axim Pimped! Bought my axim X30 in June and have absolutely loved it. Unfortunately, I have been unable to pimp by axim due to the fact I spend all of my money on the handheld itself. Although I absolutely love my axim, it also serves as a nice paper weight due to the lack of software and peripherals I have at my disposal. As a full time student, also trying to work full time to pay for my studies (Including tuition which is due in another month) , I'll be unable to purchase these peripherals and software that I need to truly make my axim a must have device in my pocket, as opposed to a paper weight on my desk.

I have checked out all of the links and read the descriptions on all the prizes, and am amazed at the added functionality and protection they would provide for my axim. As a busy student who is never home, these functionalities would allow me to truly make my axim the device it was meant to be and keeping me organized and in touch while I'm on the go.

Please Axim site, don't let my axim become a paper weight....Please Axim Site, Pimp my Axim!
