Pocket PC Thoughts Contest: Ultra-Mega-Super Pocket Hack Master 2004 Giveaway Contest

THIS CONTEST IS BEING RUN OVER AT POCKET PC THOUGHTS. PLEASE POST RESPONSES THERE. SORRY ABOUT ANY CONFUSION.

Just read this over on Pocket PC Thoughts and figured someone might be interested! :)
Ultra-Mega-Super Pocket Hack Master 2004 Giveaway Contest
Posted by Pat Logsdon @ 02:00 PM

Anton Tomov has kindly agreed to provide 5 free (free) licenses of his new Pocket Hack Master 2004 application to Pocket PC Thoughts readers. Personally, I think this thing is the be-all and end-all of Pocket PC overclocking apps. If a kitchen sink could be overclocked, Anton would figure out a way to do it. Wink

So how do you win? Simple! I want you to post the reason why you need this application. I'm feeling a bit evil this morning, though, so I'm going to further weight the competition. Extra karma points will be awarded to those entries that amuse me the most. Extra super points will be awarded to those posts that are the most outrageous, funny, or both. Remember - lies are bad but good fiction is encouraged.

Per Brad's rules, winners will be decided by me, and entirely on my whim. There will be no whining, unless it's humorous or involves penguins in some way. The deadline for entry is Friday, November 26th at 12pm PST. Winners will be notified via the email address associated with your account here, so make sure it's up to date. Good luck!

Well there are so many reasons that I need this application . . . where to begin. . . Ah I will just relay the most important ones.

It is in everyone's best interest to fight against the powerful people who would sell you a product that wasn't (by design) operating at maximum output JUST BECAUSE THEY CAN. Oh sure, you can say I am crazy (you wouldn't be the first), that it is all in my head, but those people are out there. Maybe the guy walking behind you on the street, maybe the girl bagging your groceries, maybe the guy who reads the electrical meter, thats the problem, they look just like you and I! They are insidious!!! They are too smart to sit in a parked car in front of your house for hours on end eating donuts and drinking cofee because then you would say something like "hey, who is this guy sitting in a car in front of my house for hours on end eating donuts, drinking coffee and looking into my windows with high powered binoculars!?!?" Still think I am crazy? Hmmm? Don't say I didn't warn you.

The second most important reason that I need this application is so I can modulate the operating frequency of my x30h processor in order to phase cancel the mind control beams being projected at all of us from space. Yup, ever really want some potato chips in the middle of the night? That is a result of the Electromagnetic beams. You see, Aliens are conspiring to alter our thought patterns. Their malevolent purposes I can only guess at, but I believe that they want us to eat so many carbohydrates that we are too fat to put up a fight when they come and take all of our starbucks coffee, stockpiles of Viagra and women under the age of 25 which they will use to repopulate their dying planet.

Well there are other reasons that I need pocket hack master, but I think these are the most important ones.

Thanks for your time and remember, just because your paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you!!!

That's isn't very difficult. I *need* to overclock my computerized kitchen sink, which is now running on a ARM 206Mhz, quite slow if you ask me:)

I have an x5 sitting around and since I no longer need it now that I have a x50v, I would like to test exactly what speed an x-scale needs to run at to fry an egg. Or since its getting cold here in KC I could always crank it up and use it as a handwarmer.

Overclocking - 3 reasons I need the program

1. I use my PDA as an alarm clock when I travel, and am always over sleeping. If I could get the clock to run faster the alarm would go off earlier and I would be on time for my meeting.

2. I bought a X30 mid, and the other PPCs in the office make fun of it. Even the X3i's say their faster. I often find my PPC alone on my desk shunned by the other PPCs in the office, with no one to play with. Please help.

3. Some of the files I use are HUGH, and I hope this helps in manipulating them.
