Hi Cheryl and Raynne413 in particular. You both are prolific gamers (like myself) and your walkthru in Atlantis Redux helped me immensely. Well having purchased Myst today, I'm already stuck and could do with all the help I can get.

I can't even figure out what to do with the chairs in both structures, when you walk up the stairs. Can anyone help (i'm not trying to alienate any other Aximsite forum users, but these two have a great capacity for solving puzzles). I don't think i'm stupid but i just need a small push in the right direction to solve the first puzzle(s) ha ha ha.

If you go down the stairs into the room near the dock, there is a machine that looks like a pool. Turn around and on the wall you will notice a type of sign. Take a look, and play around with the numbers on the switch and the machine. When you've understood the process, go back to the dock and up the trail to the left. Notice the piece of paper lying on the ground.
