Mean Hamster Software presents Myst for PocketPC

Who can forget Myst? You had your blue book, your red book, and the world's most complicated puzzles that took days to solve. By the way, did that guy ever find a way to get out of that blasted cauldron?

Just when you thought that game was safely left in the 4.99 bin, a company comes along to resurrect it. Mean Hamster Software (as opposed to uh... "Nice Hamster") has just released Myst for Pocket PC. There's a link to purchase it from Regnow. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a demo to download, so can't comment on the game. $24.95 seems a little steep for a PDA game, especially one we can't test out beforehand.

That's a lot to pay for a game that forkyfork properly points out can be found in the super bargain bin at Compusa.

I read them. Very good, and I haven't played any of the games. :)

I was going to buy the game, but someone on a site pointed out that the text in the book graphic is not readable, and that makes the game impossible unless you get online to see what the books say.

I guess. I've never been very "hip" when it comes to video games.

I think they make excellent PDA ports!

Myst was a wonderful game, unfortunatly it's not one you can play over and over. Not much point paying $25 for a puzzle I've already solved.
