Ben from Innopocket contacted me yesterday to let me know that anyone having problems with the paint on the Innopocket Magnesium cases can have them replaced free of charge. They will be replaced after the paint the problem in production is remedied. Anyone one with this problem can contact Innopocket @ mag@innopocket.com
On a side note, my case performed nicely throughout the days at CTIA this week. I really like it.

There's a new problem on another thread here regarding this case opening on its own (wont stay closed). I wonder it that can be brought to their attention as well.
I don't know if this is a "replace-and-return" or a "replace-and-keep," but if anyone ends up with two cases out of this, I'd be happy to take the scratched one off their hands for, say, half-price. As long as it works, cosmetic blems don't bother me very much.
Thanks, I sent them an email with my order number and delivery info, it would be nice to have one with the paint problem fixed. I like the case so much, even w/o the offer I would keep it w/o question.

Hi - Just wanted to jump in here and point out that this case is really awesome! My x50v now feels like a piece of Military hardware instead of a computer!
Also - I picked up an extra AC adapter for my ppc on Ebay for about $7 (there's tons of auctions for these)... and the ebay AC units connect with a "SNAP" to the x50v through the magnesium case where the Dell AC adapter does not (comes loose easily). So yeah might be worth it to go get one of these, as well as the travel cigarette lighter plugs which have the same connector on them. :approve:
I've also sent an email, hadn't really looked at it until today when I was in the car and the sun was bright, could clearly see where the black marker was used; I'm also having problems keeping the cover lock, it keep popping open, didn't do that the 1st few times I used it, so somehow it must be loosening up.
