Award-winning Bible software now available for handsets

Laridian, Inc., a leading publisher of Bible-related software for mobile devices, has released a version of its PocketBible(r) software for use with Microsoft Windows Mobile-based Smartphones.

Laridian's PocketBible has received Pocket PC Magazine's "Best Bible Software" award for four consecutive years. This new smartphone version adds another convenient way to read, search and study the Bible for today's mobile consumer. Over a dozen Bible translations are currently available for use with the program, including the best-selling New International Version. Bible translations can be installed to main memory or a storage card. Users can easily switch between translations to compare wording, bookmark their favorite passages, and view cross-references, footnotes and more.

The PocketBible program is available for US$10. Bible translations are sold separately and range in price from free to US$24.99.
